General Information
Check-in at the hotel is 4:00 pm. Early check-ins are upon request.
Checkout is 11:00 am. Late checkouts are based on availability with an applicable fee.
Cancellations must be made by 4:00pm local time, two days before the day of your arrival or will be subject to one night's room and tax cancellation fee.
When booking directly with the hotel we do not charge your card until check in. We do not collect a room deposit at time of booking.
Please list the additional guests on your reservation or you may call the front desk, your guest must provide an ID.

Pets are not allowed at the Beach House unless they are a registered service dog. There's no weight restriction. We do not charge a fee to house a service dog.
The Beach House Hotel is a non-smoking property. All forms of smoking are prohibited. This includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars and other detectable smoke.
No, The Beach House Hotel does not charge any additional Resort or Amenities fees in addition to your room rate.

We offer 96 total rooms including Premium Ocean Front, Ocean Front, Ocean View, Partial Ocean View and Standard View rooms.
We do not have ADA compliant rooms, however we do have rooms with ADA features. Please call the Front Desk at 310.374.3001 to learn more.
No, we do not have connecting rooms.
We do have adjoining rooms available: these rooms are side by side and share a common door making a private hallway between the rooms that can be locked.
No, our rooms are Junior Suites with the living room separated from the bedroom by a waist high wall.
Our rooms have a king bed in the bedroom area and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room.
Note: some Standard View rooms have one queen bed and one sofa sleeper.
The Beach House does not have rollaway beds for additional guests. The hotel does provide Pac and Play cribs for infants.
Maximum occupancy is four guests to a room.
Yes, you may drop it off at the front desk.

Yes, WIFI is included in your stay. We do not provide any streaming services.
No, we do not have a restaurant on site, however we have many in walking distance and others that will deliver meals directly to your room.
Yes, we include a complimentary continental breakfast daily.
Continental breakfast is served daily from 7:00am-10:30am. Continental breakfast includes coffee, tea, fresh juice, milk, Danish, muffins, bagels, toast, fresh fruit, cereal, granola, hot oatmeal and hard-boiled eggs. You can enjoy your breakfast at the Strand Café Patio or the comfort of your guest room.
The hotel does not rent bikes. However, right next door to the hotel is Hermosa Cyclery. They are open seven days a week and rent both traditional bikes and e-bikes.
Yes, stop by our Valet Stand and you can grab complimentary beach chairs and towels. Beach toys for the kids are also available subject to availability.

The hotel does not offer a mini bar in our guest rooms, however we do sell local crafted beers, champagne and both red and white wine by the bottle. In addition, each morning we offer with our Continental Breakfast for purchase both Mimosa's and Bloody Mary's.
The hotel does not have a swimming pool however we do have an outdoor hot tub adjacent to the Fitness Center. The hot tub hours are from 8:00am- 10:00pm daily.
There is a small gym on the property offering cardiovascular equipment and limited weights 24 hours a day.
Yes, Sand Spa provides a variety of spa services by appointment only. Please contact Sand Spa directly at 310.779.6077 to book your treatment.
Three function rooms provide great natural light with the fourth being our intimate Board Room. The Strand Café provides dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean to create memorable group lunches, dinners or evening receptions. The 2,200 sq. ft. of total function space can accommodate from 10-80 guests comfortably.
The hotel does not provide a venue for weddings.
