HERMOSA BEACH, CA (March 29, 2007) – For a getaway with hotel rooms reminiscent of a private beach cottage, visit Beach House Hotel Hermosa Beach and enjoy a total Southern California beach experience for a day, a weekend or if lucky, even longer. Starting April 1, 2007, an overnight stay can also include a private beach volleyball lesson by Hermosa Beach's own Olympic Gold Medalist (2000) Eric Fonoimoana.

One-on-one volleyball lessons can be scheduled on the beach just outside the hotel with Fonoimoana. Known as "The Body" on the AVP tour for his stature, Fonoimoana and his family live just a few blocks from the hotel and beginning April 1, will be offering Beach House guests lessons, one-on-one, or bring friends, for $75 per hour/ per person. Reservations are necessary and can be made through the hotel's front desk staff. Should the tour take Eric away on the day of your stay, other professional players are on call. Lessons are for beginners to professionals, all ages, individually or with a friend and those looking to learn tips from a pro.

The Beach House is located just steps from the beach overlooking The Strand in this sassy beach city. The hotel transports guests to a beach lifestyle with its location, the 26-mile coastal path outside the door, and the vibrant sunsets overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

When staying at the Beach House, recreational options are plentiful – roaming the sand in good weather or bad, riding a bike, skating or jogging on The Strand and now, getting more physical with a volleyball lesson.
